Welcome back!

Hi!

It has been a very long time since my last post. About four years, and four very hectic years. Since then I have lived in Germany, went back to Chile twice, went to university in the United States, did Semester at Sea, and now I am almost a year from finishing my undergraduate degree and doing a bunch of independent research in Europe. My point is, we got loads to catch up with.

I hope that throughout the next few months, this blog will serve as a sort of "pensieve" for me to unload thoughts, reflection, and insight inspired by the experiences I am having. I also hope to share stories of the past that connect to the work that I am doing right now.

A few weeks ago I disembarked from Semester at Sea, program that took me on a cruise-ship to circumnavigate the world. From San Diego, to Amsterdam. Naturally, I wanted to take the opportunity to make the trip worth the environmental cost and instead of flying back to the US, spend a few months in Europe continuing my studies independently. So alongside with my academic advisor at COA, I designed two independent studies with focus and the Arts & Culture of the cities where I'll be living, and on Peace Education being practiced. So over the next three months I will be living in Berlin (May), Múnich (June) and Mostar (July). If you so happen to be around the area shoot me a message cause we might be able to meet up!

If you are here exclusively to look at my portfolio depending on what you are looking for check out the projects/photography/music section of the website and see an overview of the social and artistic projects I have been working over the past few years. And if you are interested in my work on peace education check out "The Blog for Peace Education" where I will be constantly uploading content on my research and experiences related to the topic.

Thank you so much for visiting the website. I hope you find what you are looking for and more, and please feel free to contact me if you have any questions.

Hugs from Berlin!

Love, Felipe
